Toddler beds are used as a 'stop gap' between a cot and a proper grown up bed for children between the ages of 18 months to 5 years. (These ages are approximate)

Some parents consider toddler beds a waste of time and money and prefer to transfer their kids straight into a full size single bed and buy safety rails, which tuck neatly between the mattress and the bedframe, and give the child  a sense of safety and security.

This chuck wagon toddler bed is certainly striking, and looks as though it's made from premium timber and with a huge amount of love.l

With it's metal milk churn and overhead 'wagon' canopy it will surely lead to one lucky little boy growing up to be a cowboy or plains farmer.

This is just plain scary.

A huge teddy bear bed - don't think either of my grandaughters would appreciate this - surely lead to nightmares.

This is more like it. A full-on pink, glamourous hollywood style bed for
everyone's little princesses.

With its curved bed and headboard, tall four posters, crowned with
silver filligree and gorgeous, sparkly pink tulle nets - beautiful.

I quite like this type of bed, sturdy and colourful and should last quite a while.

Not keen on the hanging satchel!! This type of structure should
be thoroughly inspected to ensure there's nowhere where kids could
hang ropes, scarves, etc - too easy for tragic accidents to happen.

Not many little boys would decline the chance to sleep in
an authentic train bed.

This blue and red, steam engine bed with its life like
